GREEN COFFEE MOVES INTO THE GREEN on 11th January 2025!
...weather permitting! We have been invited by Lisa Sture of Radnorshire Wildlife Trusts' Pentwyn project to hold Green Coffee (Llandrindod Transition's monthly informal drop-in chat about living more lightly on the planet) there on their planned Open Day from 10.00- 2.00 on Saturday 11th January instead of the Herb Garden Cafe.
More details on the poster here.
There will be a couple of marquees and a fire, but come prepared for poor weather.
Tea and cake will be available and at lunchtime soup and sourdough bread.
Lisa also says if anyone fancies volunteering, that would also be welcome, even if only for part of the time including help needed putting up the marquees.
Pentwyn is about 14 road miles from Llandrindod, 4 miles East of Llanbister on the B4356 and about 1.5 road miles from Llanbister Road station with the infrequent Heart of Wales Line service, but not readily accessible otherwise by public transport.
Perhaps you can offer a lift share, which we can try to organise via email, personal contact or/and on the Transition Facebook page.
The Repair Cafe is in the afternoon (again depending on weather) so those of us involved may have to leave by about 12.45pm.
