Alan's talk will explore the opportunities for Community Carbon Saving schemes in Landrindod Wells. In particular, he will be covering
- the support available for community carbon saving schemes from SevernWye Energy Agency
- the capacity needed within community organisations to take on small and large scale pojects
- opportunities for Llandrindod
Alan has extensive experience working with community groups elsewhere in the UK and will talk about some of succesful carbon saving schemes that community groups have run, including
- Zero Waste events
- Love Food - Hate Waste
- Waste audits and recycling
- Carbon Footprinting
- Thermal Imaging surveys
- Community Renewable Energy schemes
